U Salty contains all four salts/electrolytes you lose through sweat.

All four are electrolytes with high bioavailability.

• The tablets can be dissolved in water/sports drink or swallowed as they are. The choice is yours as they are unflavored but naturally salty in taste and can be mixed with most things, swallowed whole, or dissolved under the tongue. If you want to dissolve the tablets in liquid, they should be crushed as they are hard-pressed minerals. See our U Hydrate (Related Products further down the page) if you primarily want to dissolve the salt in water and not swallow the tablets.

• Each tablet contains 250mg of sodium (10mmol, equivalent to the salt content in 250ml of sweat) which increases the salt content in your sports drink if you are a heavy sweater.

How big are U Salty? U Salty tablets are the size of a paracetamol or ibuprofen tablet.

How do I know if I lose a lot of salt/electrolytes when I sweat? You cannot be entirely sure about the losses through sweat without a lab analysis. However, if you notice that you sweat a lot during exercise in heat and often see white salt stains on your clothes, it's a sign that you're losing a significant amount of salt. In that case, you could try adding U Salty and then evaluate the result.
