This is a liquid gel of 50ml with an optimal carbohydrate blend of glucose (maltodextrin) and fructose at a 1:0.8 ratio. Since the gel is liquid, there's no need to drink water with it. In addition to providing 30g of carbohydrates, the gel also contains all 4 major electrolytes lost through sweat (Sodium, Potassium, Calcium, and Magnesium) in a well-balanced amount.
