Gothenburg Half Marathon Sports Fuel by Umara

Last year we were already able to inform you that Umara is stepping in and sponsoring the Göteborgsvarvet and becoming the new supplier of sports drinks for the race(s). We would now also like to announce that our sports drink will be served during the Göteborgsvarvet Marathon as well.

For both events, we are providing a newly developed sports drink that will help you achieve new record times with a calm and harmonious stomach. Let us introduce Göteborgsvarvet Sports Fuel.

It is the official sports drink served during the Göteborgsvarvet and Göteborgsvarvet Marathon. It is already available from Umara, pre-mixed in 500ml with the same flavor, concentration ratio, and carbohydrate composition as when it is served during the event. Perfect for thorough testing before the start.

Developed by us at Umara and flavored in consultation with Göteborgsvarvet to perfectly suit the distance. The drink has the optimal carbohydrate ratio of 1:0.8 between glucose:fructose for maximum absorption and a calm stomach. Each bottle has a complete electrolyte profile and provides 33g of carbohydrates, which means a 6.6% solution that keeps you hydrated and in fluid balance even when it gets really hot (which it usually does).
