Product description

This energy package provides all the fuel you need to maintain your pace during longer trail runs between 2-4h. The package is designed for you to utilize the water/sports drink stations available and supplement with our gels, with or without caffeine, between stations for consistent energy.

This setup ensures a steady intake of 60g of carbohydrates per hour while keeping your stomach comfortable. Supplement with sports drinks and water from the hydration stations as needed. If you are doing a race without energystation add U Sport mix to take with you.

Usage (for 2 hours and 45 minutes to 3 hours)

  • 30 minutes before start – U Intend Shot 60ml

  • 5 minutes before start – U Gel 30g Carbs

  • 30 minutes in – U Gel 30g Carbs

  • 1 hour in – U Gel 30g Carbs

  • 1.5 hours in – U Gel 30g Carbs

  • 2 hours in – U Gel 30g Carbs

  • 2.5 hours in – U Gel 30g Carbs

If your run time differs from this estimate, we recommend adding an extra gel for each additional 30 minutes of running. See related products for options. If you’re running with a hydration bladder, consider adding sports drink mix in a flavor of your choice, aiming to supply 30-60g of carbohydrates per hour.

Example: For a 1L hydration bladder or 2 x 500ml soft bottles, mix 2 scoops of sports drink powder (60g of carbohydrates) to consume over 2 hours, providing 500ml of fluid and 30g of carbohydrates per hour as a baseline. Complement this with the gels in the package and additional energy from hydration stations for a total intake of 60-90g of carbohydrates per hour.
